Have you recently been diagnosed with cancer? Our support network includes one-on-one mentoring for those who are newly diagnosed. Many of our troops are available to talk on the phone, meet for coffee, share their experiences and offer support. Call 520-546-1601 or email if you would like to talk to someone who knows what you are going through.
Beat Cancer Boot Camp provides great opportunities to be involved in the community. Sign up to be a fitness buddy – support and encourage someone with cancer and get fit, too! Volunteer to help out with fundraising or special events.
There are various social and networking opportunities for survivors at all stages of treatment and recovery. Monthly Luncheons, Birthday Dinners, Retreats, Lecture Series, and AWOL Adventures! There is a dinner on the first Tuesday of every month, at 6:30pm, at the Brandi Fenton Park location. The third Friday of each month we have lunch at a designated restaurant. We also have guest speakers to educate on issues important to cancer survivors; annual retreats to destination locations that of course include daily Boot Camp classes; and local adventures to places like the Police Academy, the Fire Department, and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base to mention just a few.
